When visitors leave comments on my site, I collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

I may send a coded version of your email (a hash) to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to my website, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site. To protect your privacy, ensure location data is removed before uploading.
